Meet Our Coaches

  • Karina Lubowitz, MS, SLP, Parent Coach & Educator

As a parent coach and educator, my mission is to empower parents with knowledge and practical tools, fostering a smoother parenting journey that nurtures optimal growth and development at every stage. I firmly believe that the cornerstone of parenting lies in fostering a healthy connection and secure attachment with children of any age, and that it’s never too late to strengthen these bonds.

My career began as a speech-language pathologist specializing in children facing language and learning challenges. Through this, I learned the importance of understanding child development and prioritizing relationships. Partnering with caregivers reinforced my belief in the power of connection and parental engagement for positive outcomes.

Transitioning into parenthood myself, I realized the profound complexity of the role. Attending a parent workshop proved pivotal, providing not only practical skills but also the supportive community of fellow parents. Pursuing certifications in positive psychology, yoga, mindfulness, and health coaching, along with continued participation in parent workshops, enriched my personal and professional toolkit.

Becoming a Positive Discipline Parent Educator and a PCI Certified Parent Coach further enhanced my expertise. Leading workshops and facilitating parent talks supplemented my hands-on experience. Yet, the most invaluable influence remains raising three children with my husband for over two decades, offering continual opportunities for growth and learning.

I cherish the privilege of supporting parents, knowing the potential for transformative change in their lives and their children’s. This work imbues my life with profound meaning and fulfillment.

  • Caroline Rosen, MA, M.ED, Parent Coach

As a parent coach I strive to reframe parents’ perspectives by offering a new lens by which to view themselves and their child. This fresh mindset works to create understanding, respect, and teamwork between parent and child and build a more collaborative environment.

I started my career working one-on-one with children in NYC schools which inspired me to get my Masters in Psychological Counseling to be able to address not only my students’ learning needs but also their emotional challenges. Meeting with the parents of these struggling children strongly sensitized me, even before I was a parent myself, to the profound responsibility, heart felt angst and helplessness that they were experiencing and their understandable yearning for answers. These years of work experience, combined with my education gave me a strong academic background in child development and behavior, and also real world experience to incorporate its applications

Once I became a parent and later Head of the PA at my daughter’s school, I became further attuned to the mounting pressure and challenges that we all, as parents, were experiencing. I continued to hone my skills and knowledge as I took intensive courses at The Ackerman Institute for the Family, did substitute teaching, led parent groups for Parents in Action, and most recently became a PCI Certified Parent Coach.

Being a parent myself to two wonderful adult children has certainly been the most humbling and rewarding role in my life. I am delighted to pass on my first hand experience, both in my work and as a parent and my educational knowledge in my role as coach to reinvigorate the joy that parenting can bring to each of my clients.
